Event description

Description

During this 10 week introductory course you will have an opportunity to try various printmaking techniques on paper. This will include traditional copper etching, collograph, lino-cut and screen-printing. The course will also cover general Health & Safety and working practices in the Print Room. You will be shown how to use all the relevant tools and equipment.

You will be encouraged to carry out individual projects, so if you have any ideas, sketches, photographs or objects you would like to use as an inspiration please bring them along.

This evening course is aimed at those who are completely new to printmaking and there's no need for you to have excellent drawing skills as we will explore working with various textures and mark making. All you need is some level of curiosity about the process and an open mind.
