Join Charlott Fletcher for a day of creative workshop designing and making. You will learn how to draft a pattern for either an apron or smock starting from a basic pattern block. Following this you get a chance to get creative and design patch pockets to suit the intended purpose of your garment, learning how to draft the pattern your pockets.
Finally you will learn how to cut and sew your garment and leave with your very own piece of work wear.
Charlott Fletcher is a designer of handmade clothing for makers and creators.
She collaborates with other makers to produce garments to suit their work process. These craft specific garments sit alongside her core collection of more universal handmade work wear. All garments are designed and handmade by her in her Ugborough studio mainly using organic cotton, Irish linen and British wool.

Materials and Equipment
All tools and materials are provided. Please wear closed toed shoes. No prior experience is required though basic sewing skills would be beneficial.
Please note that all courses are subject to student numbers and will only run if sufficient numbers are achieved. Plymouth College of Art reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient student numbers are recruited.
