Learn how to use this wonderful 'Bundle Dyeing' bind and steam technique, to create unique designs, using zero toxic, synthetic chemicals or heavy metals, as part of a sustainable creative practice. Choose from a variety of dried and fresh flowers and plants to achieve a range of colours, explore intuitive herbalism, flower symbolism and natural dyeing. Leave with the skills to make your own bundle dyed items and with a beautifully hand-dyed length of organic British silk, with which you may make a scarf, cushion cover or other creative project.

Materials and Equipment
A length of organic British silk will be provided and included in class for you to use, and there will also be more available to buy at an additional cost, at £28 per metre, also available by the 1/2 metre.
Please wear closed toed shoes. No prior experience is required.
Please note that all courses are subject to student numbers and will only run if sufficient numbers are achieved. Plymouth College of Art reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient student numbers are recruited.
