Plymouth History Festival - Victoria Park Walk
Sun 7 May 2017, 11:00 – 12:30 BST
Join Walks with History on a walk through Plymouth's Victoria Park. Our walk which will take 90 minutes will look at the history of the park and the surrounding area. Look out for boundary stones, naval graves, the remains of a grand wooden viaduct built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and help us find the location of a wartime bomb crater,
Meet by the new boundary stone at the western end of the park near the Eldad Hill and Hotham Place entrances to the park at 10.45am for an 11am start.
Plymouth Citybus service 70/71 serves nearby Wilton Street (hourly) and free parking can be found on neighbouring streets.
This walk is part of the Plymouth History Festival 2017 https://plymhistoryfest.wordpress.com
