Event description

Description

Excavated in August 2011 the Whitehorse Hill site uncovered one of the most important collections of Early Bronze Age archaeological finds in the country. It has been described as the most important discovery on Dartmoor in over 100 years and our 2014 exhibition was really popular. Join Curator Fiona Pitt as we revisit the story of this fascinating find. Who was buried on Whitehorse Hill and what were the amazing objects found alongside them?
