About this event

Monthly Support Group for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) - Glasgow

I'm excited to invite you to the very first PMDD Support Group in Glasgow. This will be a warm, welcoming space for anyone living with PMDD (diagnosed or self-identified) to connect, share experiences, and feel supported in a safe and confidential environment.

By coming along, you’ll be helping to build a local network of understanding peers — and hopefully leave feeling validated and less alone in how this condition impacts your life.

This group is supported by The PMDD Project. It will run on a monthly basis, for around 10 people, initially.

What is PMDD?

PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) is a condition where, one to two weeks before menstruation, a person experiences severe mood changes such as irritability, low mood and anxiety to name a few. These often come with physical symptoms like fatigue, and together they can significantly impact daily life.

Evening Plan (the group will be mostly peer-led, so we can discuss this and make any changes):

⭐️ Welcome with tea/coffee ☕️

⭐️ Introductions to the group and each other

⭐️ Optional sharing of experiences

⭐️ Break

⭐️ Discussion topic

⭐️ Check-out
