Description
Leadership Styles that Traverse Time - Examples from 1066
Our keynote speaker for the night is Stephen Carver. Stephen will return to the North East to present the story of 1066 and examine how leadership styles that exist today, also existed nearly 1000 years ago. Through his unique retelling of the Battle of Hastings, Stephen will recount the leadership stories of William, Duke of Normandy, Harold Godwinson and Harold Hardrada and explore the impact their leadership had on their respective campaigns for control of England.

Dr David Hancock leads the Government Construction Team and chairs the Government Construction Board for the Cabinet Office and the Infrastructure and Projects Authority. Dr Hancock is renowned internationally as a leading thinker and practitioner in the field of risk; author of the 2010 bestselling book “Tame, Messy and Wicked Risk Leadership”, in which he developed the concept of Risk Leadership.
Enabling Positive Change - Northumbria Enactus Team
We will be joined on the night by Northumbria Enactus who will take us on their project management journey.
