This workshop will be an in-depth look at Self Employment, looking at tax returns, with specific advice catered to artists and artist practitioners.
Once you register for the event we will invite you to send in questions and subjects that you would like to see covered during this session so that we can tailor it to the participants needs.
This workshop is for people with an existing understanding of self-employment and the tax return process. If you are a recent graduate or a beginner in this area, please see the session we are hosting prior to this one with Newcastle University Careers Service on Tuesday 6th December.
Pete is a fully-qualified Chartered Accountant, who has specialised in the arts and cultural sector for the past 25 years. He currently works with a wide range of cultural sector organisations and artists, providing business advice, training, mentoring and support as well as more traditional accountancy services from book-keeping through to year end accounts. Working with organisations such as CIRCA Projects, AV Festival, Tusk Music, Workplace Gallery, Wunderbar, Cobalt Studios amongst others.
