About this Event
PΛNΛCΞΛ (2020) is a short film that is part CGI trip and part visual poem, inspired by the ongoing Lebanese revolution.
A journey through post-apocalyptic landscapes hints at not only the environmental crises that are long-term side effects of our struggles, but also our collective inner turmoil.
The event is FREE and open to all but registration is essential to attend.
MH Sarkis (aka MΛRIΛ, b. 1990) explores concepts of female subjectivities, dyadic relationships, and soft power within frameworks of potential posthumanisms and techno-utopias (or dystopias).
Sarkis is a Lagos-raised, London-born Lebanese artist; her work continually crosses borders and has been exhibited internationally.
She is based in London and is currently on the Goldsmiths MFA Fine Art programme. Recent shows include “2068” at SPACE in Hackney, London.
AWAN Festival is produced by Arts Canteen and supported by Arts Council England.
