About this event

Community • Historic

Together we’ll read some of the poems and writings that were read during the mural’s creation and encoded in its imagery. We’ll the hear the recently uncovered story of three connected slave ship wrecks, one in Thanet waters, one in the Senegal River and one in the middle of the Atlantic, that are given reference by the mural as the first, community-held, documentation of this history. Meet at PDC HQ at 2pm and walk with us (10mins) to the mural, or meet us there on Clifton Gardens at 2.30pm.
