Poetry is politics, love, nature, virtual reality, mental health, history and future. Writing and reading poems can provide space in our lives, it can constitute therapy and it can be fun! Margaret Haig enjoys reading and writing poetry and this session will cover both – complete novices welcome! Margaret is a member of two local poetry groups in East London/Essex (Forest Poets and Barking Foxes) and although she loves writing, she has also experienced those difficult dry spells. She will share some ideas and some poems to inspire you.
