I am a poet and poetry teacher and am holding weekly poetry sessions by the Water of Leith during September and October. I will bring a poem to share, we will pay some attention to the river – its song, its residents, its journey – and then I’ll offer a prompt to write a poem. Poems can then be shared, if you would like to.
Where: Meet at St Bernard’s Well, Water of Leith, Stockbridge
(beside the well, the lower path)
When: 9am – 10am Friday mornings starting September 5 until, and including, October 31
Cost: £6
Bring: Paper and pen
We cancel for rain, but otherwise I’ll be there.
I am an experienced teacher. Most recently I have run workshops and courses for The National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh Adult Education, Open Book and The Poetry School. Find out more about me and my work here: lynn-davidson.com
It would be lovely to see you there, to share a quiet space, some poetry, and an autumnal river.
