Poetry Games Workshop

Explore the National Poetry Day theme of play with writer Amanda Quinn.
Whether you’re a practised poet or haven’t written a poem since school, this workshop will introduce you to some poetry games and activities to help you get inspired and develop your skills.
The workshop will be relaxed and informal and you don’t need to know anything about poetry to attend.
The workshop is free to attend and will last for two hours. Attendees must be over 16.
Bio
Amanda Quinn is a writer and facilitator based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her short
stories and poems are published online and in print. She delivers creative writing projects, workshops and courses in community venues to encourage and support people to write. She is particularly interested in helping people benefit from being creative in their everyday lives and her sessions are designed to be enjoyable as well as inspiring.
