Event description
Poetry NI presents an array of Belfast-based poets for a live showcase reading.

About this Event

Join us for an afternoon of powerful words, dazzling verse and stimulating insight from a great range of established names, slam winners and exciting new voices. This array of literary talent features:

  • Peter Adair
  • Colin Dardis
  • Imogen Darling
  • Elizabeth McGeown
  • Geraldine O’Kane
  • Rachel Spence
  • Patrick Taggart

Each of the poets are disabled, writing about their condition and experience of having a disability, in a wide range of voices and approaches. This is a secular and inclusive event - non-disabled audiences are welcome - and has been developed in partnership with Poetry NI.

TICKETING AND AGE RANGES

Where events say ‘Free’ you will have the option to make a small donation at the door if you wish, which supports disability access costs. Free companion tickets are available for disabled people needing essential assistance.

Where events are deemed most suitable for a particular age range, this is marked at the top of the event. If you have questions about age ranges or access please discuss with University of Atypical staff.  You’ll find contact and access details for all venues at the back of this brochure.
