Event description

Description

St Mary’s is fortunate to have Pádraig come and lead a Retreat At Home for us and our friends, people of faith and anyone of goodwill who might be interested in hearing this wonderful writer and speaker. He will share his life journey, poetry, lyrical gift, and his passion for reconciliation and justice, to help us explore how our imagination and faith can shape community and lives. Pádraig was from 2014-19 leader of the Corrymeela Community, Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation community. He is an author, speaker and theologian.

“Pádraig Ó Tuama is an extraordinary person, whose influence extends quietly and gracefully across the world. His poetry bears these same qualities and brings him close. It is a gift to us all.”

Krista Tippett. Creator and host of ‘On Being‘
