Manchester – we’re back, and we’re bringing something new.
From this month, join us for a regular night of live spoken word and music right in the heart of the city. We’ll still be at Withy Public Hall every other month, but in between, we’re teaming up with Lock 91 to bring the same energy, artistry, and community to the city centre.
This Month’s Headliners
✨ Kieren King (@kierinjking) – One of Manchester’s most exciting spoken word artists, with 20 years of performing at the UK’s biggest festivals and venues (including Glastonbury, Southbank Centre, and Kendal Calling). A Great Northern Slam Champion, four-time UK National Slam finalist, and curator of legendary poetry nights including SLAMCHESTER and Evidently.
✨ Kyia Barrett (@kyia_kb) – A bold, politically sharp and playful poet and performer from Oldham. With recent performances at Rotterdam Poetry Slam, Roundhouse, and an upcoming feature at the Imperial War Museum Manchester, Kyia is one to watch.
🎹 @sosthieu – providing live improvised piano accompaniment, weaving music into the words for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
