About this event

Best friends, Beth and Katey are hosting the first POI, Paint and Prosecco afternoon - supported by the Daisy Network, the UK's only charity for women with POI. As part of this event, the admission fee has been covered by the charity to help those to connect and be part of the day. Here is what to expect from our afternoon -

✨ Pottery Painting - The event is being held at The Pottery Cave, Lichfield where you can choose your own pottery piece to paint, a therapeutic and creative experience (please note, the pottery cost is not covered - costs vary depending on piece)

✨ POI Support - Both Beth and Katey were diagnosed with POI from a young age and have volunteered their time to the Daisy Network offering support to others in a similar position. The hosts along with the rest of the group are there for open conversations on all things POI. (No medical advice is available and all information are based on lived experiences)

✨ Prosecco Sipping - Whether you want it alcoholic or not, these options are provided within your ticket. Other drinks are available through The Pottery Cave, one complimentary within your ticket and additional can be purchased.

Spaces are very LIMITED at only 10 tickets available.

Frequently asked questions

My daughter has been diagnosed with POI and she's 12, would this event be suitable for her?

We truly understand how she must be feeling, and though we are very open and welcome any age that has been diagnosed, we do have to prewarn you that past meet ups have contained conversations surrounding POI that may not be suitable to those under 16.

I'm not comfortable speaking about my condition yet, will I have to share my story?

Absolutely not, we know how our anxiety can be towards these type of events . . "Will I have to public speak?", "Will I be picked on?" and the answer is no, we'll open the conversation and you only have to speak if comfortable to do so. If you wanted to chat privately, we'll be around after
