Commercial capability development across all departments has been identified as a key priority for the public sector. It is critical that we all have a good understanding of what commercial means for us and how commercial implications can impact our policy development.

Have you ever wondered how to ‘think commercial’ in policy making? Do you want to learn how to better understand an increasingly complex health market? Do you want to learn more about what insights commercial analysis can bring to health policy?

Commercial are pleased to be rolling-out a Commercial Policy Certificate module in both Leeds and London. This session will provide a practical introduction to commercial using real-life examples to enhance your commercial awareness, introduce commercial policy skills and help you to understand the steps involved in making commercial decisions. The session will demystify the role of commercial within the Department and you will know how, and from whom, to get advice to achieve best value.

This will benefit policy staff who are looking to better their commercial awareness and understanding of the markets within health. The session is aimed at anyone in the policy profession, regardless of grade or experience.
