About this event

Spring is in full swing, so what better time to help the Ranger Service for a big Spring Clean in Polkemmet Country Park! We will be giving all of our bridges, boardwalks, viewing platforms and steps a good clean of vegetation, debris, lichen and anything else we find in preperation for our visitor numbers incrasing as we move forward to the summer months. And as always we need extra help in litter picking, so with enough help the park will be looking its best when we are finished!

All tools and a full tool safety talk will be provided by the Ranger. If you have some, please bring along a pair of gloves with you, and wear appopriate clothing for the weather. Good sturdy footwear is also advised. Please bring along any snacks and drinks you require. No prior experience is necessary to take part in the sessions, new volunteers are always welcome!

The session will run for two hours, and the meeting place is outside the Ranger Office in Polkemmet Country Park (unless otherwise specified), which is located next to the archway at the Visitor Centre.
