Take the theme of ‘Pollinators’ and provide a learning experience that is curricular linked and engages learners with sustainability issues.

About this event

This session will enable you to take the theme of ‘Pollinators’ and provide a learning experience that is curricular linked and engages learners with local and global sustainability issues.

Using good teaching and learning approaches, this session will inspire and equip you to develop a pollinator themed project in your own school. We will equip you with the ideas to get started, signpost and provide helpful resources, and connect you to further support.

We will help you make practical changes to your school grounds or a local greenspace, providing the context for an ongoing learning opportunity. We will highlight the low-resource approach to a pollination project, and how to maintain the space and the learning project ongoing.

Learning through Landscapes has over 30 years experience of developing school grounds, outdoor learning and play.

This event is FREE thanks to funding from Generation Green. The South Downs National Park Learning Network have used the funding to develop a series of online teacher training sessions to support schools to deliver more Learning Outside the Classroom.
