Find out about the latest materials research from WMG, at the University of Warwick, current industry trends, and future technologies while meeting and collaborating with likeminded businesses.
Wednesday 12th October 2016 - SKILLS
The theme for October's event will be based on Skills, picking up on some of the key issues arising from the recently published CBI/Pearson Education and Skills Survey 2016 which confirmed:
'Businesses need increasing levels of skills among their employees - and the skills-sets in demand tomorrow will be different from those required today'.
In addition, the same report concluded that '63% of SMEs fear that in the coming years there will not be enough people to fill their high-skill jobs'.
We are in the process of confirming an impressive line-up of speakers for this event, so details will be updated here very soon.
There will also be the opportunity for 2-3 hotshot talks, to allow others to contribute to another informative and entertaining evening. Please email email@example.com if you are interested in delivering a short,
two-minute hotshot talk.
