ON ROUTE: there are a couple of steep climbs. Underfoot the paths are generally good, we will be walking through some moorland gorse (if wet gaiters are a good idea) and rocky scree.
STURDY FOOTWEAR: is advised, bring drinks, snacks and packed lunch enough for a full day out as there is nowhere to buy anything on route.
WEATHER: keep an eye on the weather in the days leading-up to the walk, a waterproof jacket / trousers may be needed.
DOGS: are welcome; however, the owner(s) must take care of their dogs every need(s) and (as it is lambing time and ground nesting birds are still on their nests) dogs must be kept on a lead.
If more than one dog on this walk you may be asked to keep them separate and away from other walkers who may not like dogs.
Health & Safety: While we are experienced walking leaders and take safety very seriously, we are obliged to point out that by agreeing to join this walk, you accept that TREKsmart, and Llangollen Walking Festival Walk Leaders, supporters and sponsors cannot be held responsible for any injuries, loss or damages incurred as a result of your own action or omission of action. You also agree to indemnify the above against any claims, losses and costs associated with such. Photographs of the group may be taken during this walk, if you would prefer to not be included in the photos as they may be used for future publicity, inform the walk leader. Please inform the walk leader of any medical condition(s) you may be suffering from which we should know about and how we should deal with it/them as this could impact on your safety and/or the safety of the group.
