Martin is a sales trainer who has kindly offered to bring some of his positive exuberance and experience to our Pop Up Business Cafe on Tuesday 27 September, in free 1-2-1 advice sessions.
He initially trained as a hairdresser, then pursued a self-employed career within the residential and commercial energy sector, which developed in forming a company to offer bespoke cost reduction services to existing clients. In between he also worked as a roofer as well as within the licence trade & has also renovated some properties along the way. In fact, he relishes any challenge that helps him grow his skill base, which has now culminated in him bringing a wealth of experience to his clients.
Here’s a snippet from his website:
At The Reluctant Salesman we believe that selling is fundamentally simple and our unique training programs are designed to prove it.
We create The Freedom to Sell for you and your business, not by some new technique but by adopting an innovative and unique approach to the whole process of client acquisition and sales creation.
Why come and see him?
We all know we need to make sales to grow our businesses, but a lot of people find it difficult to sell themselves – it is not in the British stereotype to talk about how wonderful we are! Martin is here to help you take off that level of discomfort and make more sales.
What’s in a name?
A reluctant salesman isn’t somebody who doesn’t want to make sales (that would be silly), a reluctant salesman is someone who wants to sell but doesn’t want to be seen as a stereotypical sales person.
