This month we have an exclusive talk from animator Tim Allen who has worked on major animation films including Corpse Bride, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Frankenweenie.
After a short break, we’ll screen Tim Burton’s 2005 animation, Corpse Bride.
A stop motion animator for 16 years, Tim Allen's credits include Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Fantastic Mr. Fox, and for Disney on Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie. As well as animating on Oscar winning Peter & the Wolf, he’s served many years of TV series work including Creature Comforts USA, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat and Shaun the Sheep for Aardman Animations. Tim was Animation Supervisor on The Magic Piano and also the recent Club Penguin specials for Disney Interactive.

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride is a 2005 stop-motion-animation musical fantasy film set in Victorian Europe. Whilst practising for his wedding to Victoria Everglo (Emily Watson), Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp) accidentally puts the ring upon a corpse’s hand. Before he knows it, Victor is in the land of the dead and has a corpse bride. Whilst everyone worries about who Victoria will marry in the land of the living, Victor desperately finds a way to get back.
