Event description
This course in portfolio preparation is particularly aimed at those students considering studying at art college.

About this Event

Portfolio Preparation

During this stimulating and inspiring course, students will be introduced to and experiment in a range of interesting and exciting activities, based on a first year foundation course at art college. By initially exploring ways of finding inspiration, as well as how to look and to think creatively, students will learn how to make considered and personal visual responses to a subject. Using sketchbooks and through group discussion, while also exploring how other artists approach the research and development aspect of making work, each student will be encouraged to uncover a personal direction for potential subsequent development.

All necessary materials will be provided and light lunches and refreshments will be available. Please notify us at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements.

Note the 10% Early-Bird discount for payments made before the end of February!
