Join us for a morning of making newt houses in clay for the pond at the corner of Shenley Road and Burchard Crescent.
The workshop will take place at Shenley Church End Parish Council, where will be learning about newts and creating houses for them from clay. The houses will become part of an artwork celebrating the wildlife of the pond at the corner of Shenley Road and Burchard Crescent.
The workshop is free and all materials will be provided. The clay can be a little messy so we recommend bringing an old shirt or apron.
Due to the nature of working with the clay we would suggest that the workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 8+. We are happy to accomdate younger children but recommend they work with a parent or guardian.
Please arrive at Shenley Church End Parish Council for a 10am start. We will finish by 12pm.
