FOR THE FIRST TIME, CHASE LANE FIREWORK DISPLAYS & EVENTS ARE BRINGING THEIR TRADEMARK NOVEMBER CRAZINESS TO FARLINGTON PLAYING FIELDS PAVILION – LET’S PARTY!!

Welcome, everybody, to a brand new experience at the tremendous Farlington Playing Fields Pavilion, the perfect setting for the biggest party of the fireworks season!

Chase Lane Firework Displays & Events (CLFDE) of Gloucester are super-proud to bring one of their not-to-be-missed family events to this perfect setting, on the wonderful south coast. First up, we would like to thank Tony, the landowner, for inviting us to bring this awesome event to their venue. All the usual CLFDE crazy fun will be on offer, culminating with a 10-minute CLFDE spectacular, 10-zillion watt display.

Event highlights:

🎡FUNFAIR, SWEETS AND TREATS!! – The entire event will be supported by the outstanding Angus Pedrick funfairs, whose rides will be open from opening until closing time!! There will be something for everyone here – from smaller rides for our younger guests to the full-on adrenalin-pumping, heart-racing thrills and spills of the much larger rides.

🎆TWO UNFORGETTABLE FIREWORKS DISPLAYS – At 6.30pm, there will be a 6-minute, lower-noise show designed at our very young friends and guests. Watch their faces light up at this beautiful display! This is suitable for absolutely anybody – the very young, the very old, the infirm and for those who might otherwise be adversely affected by the monster show that will follow at 8.00pm. Those with learning difficulties or other syndromes (for example ADHD, autism, PTSD etc) that may be triggered by this, we don’t think this first show should be an issue; however, we let their carers/parents/guardians use their judgement to make the call.

Stand by for the mighty big one at 8.00pm, once the CLFDE crew have had a chance to clear up after the lower-noise kids show and declare "site safe". Our guests will be treated to a 10-minute, pyro-extravaganza. For those who feel they do not want to experience the full-force display, there will be plenty of time to retreat to a quieter and safer area, further away from the main spectator area, or to leave the site altogether.

Please be advised - this second display will be loud, very loud in places. For the very young who have stayed on after the first show, we do recommend bringing some form of ear protection (in places, it will feel like we've created the most colourful and amazing thunder!). We want everyone to enjoy themselves, but do understand that some people can be negatively affected by the louder shells when they break at altitude. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take all necessary precautions to protect the vulnerable!

VISITORS' BEHAVIOUR - THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF MARSHALS AND STAFF ON HAND TO ASSIST OUR VISITORS. PLEASE FOLLOW THEIR ADVICE AND INSTRUCTIONS - THEY ARE THERE TO HELP, NOT HINDER! DRUNKEN, RUDE AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS THEM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND OFFENDERS CAN EXPECT TO BE TURNED AWAY!!!

🍔 🍺 FOOD AND DRINK – A large selection of superb food and drinks will be available, on sale from around the various stalls within the spectators’ areas.

🎟️ 🎟️ACCESS/PARKING/TICKETING - TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT ARE AVAILABLE, PRE-BOOKED THROUGH THIS PLATFORM. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST, MOST-RECOMMENDED (AND CHEAPEST!) OPTION. THE GATE STAFF WILL BE EQUIPPED TO TAKE PAYMENTS FROM WALK-INS AND HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO DO SO.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SECTION VERY CAREFULLY...

We highly recommend using public transport to attend this event, due to the high numbers of expected visitors. There is a P&D car park at the entrance to Farlington Playing Fields (adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express), which has capacity for 150 cars and is free on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. However, this is likely to fill very quickly! Be advised also, that there is a max headroom barrier at the entrance to this car park set at 2m - fine for most cars, but not necessarily vans, 4 x 4 cars with roof rails, or larger. The entrance is on the very busy A2030 at the Eastern Road/Walton Road interchange. CLFDE will NOT be held responsible for traffic congestion caused on the main road by visitors to this event queueing on the main road to access the P&D car park.For those coming from far afield who do not know the area, What3Words for the car park entrance is salt.rather.belt.

The ideal option for travelling to the site is by the No 19, No 20 or No 21 buses which have north- and south-bound stops right outside the entrance to the venue, on the Eastern Road/Walton Road junction. Buses run every hour into the evenings Mon-Sat and run up to 10.00pm.
