PORTSMOUTH: Maverick School of Survival - SEPTEMBER
Come and join us for a fun survival educational adventure. Find your own way with skill and good spirit with the Maverick School of Survival and this full day of learning a variety of survival skills!
Activities include; firemaking, foraging, knife work, axe work, flint knapping, tracking, trap building and arrow making. This is a great way of learning a variety of skills or putting full focus on one. The school is operated by Craig Harrison, a former army sniper, veteran and author of the bestselling book "The Longest Kill".
Since leaving the army with complex PTSD, Craig has comprehensively studied survival skills and completed a nationally recognised instructors course. Due to his own lived experience Craig, has an individual understanding of the challenges faced by people with PTSD.
Through working together, it is hoped that the Maverick Survival School will provide a time for people to be in an environment that is nurturing, natural and challenging.
We hope to see you there.
