Portuguese for Improvers - Part 2 (Thetford)

This ten-week course is term time only, Tuesdays, 6.00pm - 7.00pm and begins on Tuesday 13 January 2026. It is a continuation of the part 1 course.

This course builds on what has been achieved during the Portuguese for Beginners course, and will continue to focus on developing core skills in reading, writing and speaking in Portuguese, so that you can communicate on everyday issues such as food/drink, travel, weather, accommodation, time, colours, numbers, dates, describing people and places, Writing will mostly feature as homework.

The lessons will ensure that you develop your skills with pronunciation and begin to build on phrases for everyday conversation. The lessons will include a variety of activities and resources aiming to give you excellent opportunities to practice your language skills.

What do I need to bring:

Pen and notebook. The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid.

Important Information:

Our language courses begin with Part 1 in the autumn term (September) and you will progress throughout the year (Part 2 spring & Part 3 summer) each term is 10 weeks.

Learners will need to enrol for each term and this can be done nearer the start date.
