VIP tickets will be sold as tables of 10 and will all be ringside tables with the best view of the boxing. A VIP table will include a three course meal with wine, coffee and petit fours. Each VIP table will automatically sponsor a bout and their trophies. A representative from each VIP table will be invited to present the trophies on completion of their sponsored bout. The VIP table has the option to include an advertisement in the boxing programme.

Standard tickets include a three course meal followed by coffee and petit fours. Standard tickets are set up as tables of 10. Seats may be purchased as individuals or groups of less than 10 but guests may be seated with other patrons to make up a full table.

Boxing Only
Tickets may be purchased to watch the boxing only, without dinner. These ticket holders will be permitted entry from 8.15pm (boxing starts at 8.30pm). There is a minimum dress code of trousers and a collared shirt or the female equivalent (those wearing jeans, shorts and trainers will not be permitted entry).

Event Details

Poseidon Amateur Boxing Club, in association with Hampshire Cricket in the Community, are delighted to host our Annual Charity Black Tie Boxing Dinner Show at the Hilton at The Ageas Bowl. Doors open at 6.30pm to sit down for a beautiful three course dinner at 7pm. Dinner will be followed by coffee and petit fours whilst you enjoy an amateur boxing bill featuring local boxers.  The set menu for dinner is described below, please indicate if there are any specific dietary requirements when purchasing tickets by clicking on 'contact the organiser'.

  • Starter - Pumpkin and sweet potato soup with toasted gruyere croute
  • Main - Slow roast shoulder of lamb, sun blushed tomato glaze, garlic and rosemary dauphinois potatoes and mint jus
  • Dessert - Vanilla meringue, raspberry and blackberry cream and apple coulis.

Those wishing to watch the boxing only can also purchase tickets. Entry for these guests is permitted from 8.30pm and there is a minimum dress code of trousers and a collared shirt and ladies equivalent (those wearing jeans and trainers will not be permitted entry).




Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is no minimum age to attend the event, but ID will be required if you wish to purchase alcohol.


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Hilton at the Ageas Bowl is easily navigable from the M27 with brown signs indicating the direction to The Ageas Bowl.  There is plenty of free parking at the hotel.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, your registration is transferrable.  Simply contact the organiser to inform them of the transfer and change of name.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes you will need your printed ticket in order to ensure entry to the event.


The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

As long as you have informed the organiser that you have transferred the name prior to the event you will be permitted entry.

    Poseidon Amateur Boxing Club

    Poseidon ABC is a charitable non-profit amateur boxing club located in the east stand of The Ageas Bowl.  Having established in March 2013, the club has gone from strength to strength and recentrly benefitted from a considerable grant from Eastleigh Borough Council to expand into a National Boxing Centre of Excellence.  The new facility is fully accessible and Poseidon is pioneering inclusive boxing across the country.  Capable of providing elite training with superb facilities and highly qualified coaches, Poseidon delivers bespoke training from grass roots boxers to international athletes. Finally Poseidon significantly helps to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community by providing non-contact boxing fitness training to over 300 participants per week from the age of 6 - 65.
