Can I actually have lunch during the session?

Yes! That's why it's called a Lunch & Learn. It's expected that you'll be having something to eat during the session. As Jasmine says 'you bring the lunch and she'll bring the learning'. It's isn't required that your camera is on so you can eat without feeling self-conscious.
