Positive Behaviour Support Training Session (September)

We will be welcoming Affinity Trust to deliver Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training to those Parent Carers who would like to understand their child's challenging behaviour and safe strategies to meet their child's needs.PBS is a research based approach that focuses on understanding triggers to behaviour, then learning safe strategies to meet that individuals requirements.

The training will cover the following areas:

- What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

- What is Behaviour?

- What happens before, during and after a behaviour

- The Behaviour Escalation Cycle

- Functions for behaviour- Proactive, active and reactive strategies
