Positive Impact and Time Management

Venue: Stamford Court, Leicester

Date: 6th June 2017, 9.15am - 4.45pm

Recommended Audience: Conference Office Managers, Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, Heads of Department& Supervisors

Objectives: To help build confidence and create a positive mindset, review current practices with a view to adopting the appropriate skills, disciplines and processes to help create positive impact as a manager and maximise productivity

Trainer Bio:

Mandy Jennings: Managing Director, Paje Consultancy Ltd. Mandy has vast experience in hotels and venues and has managed many high performance teams. Her energy and drive are matched by her absolute professionalism – and it is no surprise that her work experience encompassing over 25 years, includes senior/director level sales positions with Thistle, Forte, Le Meridien and Marriott Hotels plus experience and reputation as Sales Director for the De Vere Group and Principal Hayley Hotels and Venues. As well as running her own consulting and training company she is the Sales Director for Venues of Excellence.

Melanie Cash: Melanie has worked in the hospitality industry in key sales roles for over twenty years and now offers support to businesses both large and small as a consultant and trainer. Her experience working with leading brands including; Marriott, Hilton, The Grove, The Belfry and The Lowry Hotel, to name just a few, has provided the firm foundation to enable her to offer a variety of Sales and Leadership Training and Development Support to other organisations. The consummate professional, Melanie has a natural aptitude to adapt her approach to different organisations and management styles and can blend her training and approach to suit the needs of your business however large or small.

Course Content:

Aims & Objectives – understanding your aims and objectives

  • Positive Impact - building confidence and how to create a positive mindset

  • Preparation and planning - for important meetings and how to present to senior directors and clients with impact

  • Communication – communicating your message positively and overcoming objections and how to deal with difficult questions, turn into positive and how to present with impact

  • Prioritising - identifying what is business critical and analysing what you are spending time doing. How to manage time stealers and say NO!

  • Handling Feedback positively – learning from feedback

  • Managing expectations – communicating what are you doing to generate sales v other actions?
