Positive leadership is a phrase being used increasingly within organisations. But what does it actually mean? How does it differ from standard leadership practice? Positive leadership is typically seen to involve focusing on four key areas: positive climate, positive relationships, positive communication and positive meaning. This session will provide an overview of these areas highlighting some of the key strategies positive leaders use to cultivate each one. As well as exploring the research and evidence supporting positive leadership approaches, there will be time for discussion and reflection on what works in practice.
