Like it or not, our organisations are imbued with the shenanigans (or are they!?) that we often label ‘organisational politics’. Many coaches report that they encounter the ‘spectre’ of organisational politics on a frequent basis and that their clients need to be able to manage this aspect of organisational life more effectively. But what is ‘politics’ and even if we can define it how do we help our coachees with this sometimes tricky area? This session will outline a way of thinking about organisational politics and introduce an approach to helping individuals be more effective in their roles.
You will learn about and how to quickly recognise the 4 different types of political animals that exist and start to explore how to use organisational politics positively.
We meet at 17.30 for informal networking, with the main event at 18.00 finishing no later than 20.00.
Interested? Please register here.
Our facilitator for the evening is Geoff Roberts and you can see Geoff's profile here on LinkedIn.
Note: We are testing the use of Eventbrite this month, please note there will be the usual charge on the door.
