Positive Parenting - How to have Happier & Closer relationships
Event Information
About this event
In times of stress or during an argument with your children or your partner, what’s your familiar feeling? Overburdened, singled out or under pressure? When walking away from an argument do you wonder, why do I always feel this way? Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that always seem to escalate into repeated drama or arguments with our children and partners. These experiences can leave us feeling stuck, deflated, and frustrated.
The good news is there are other options!
During this talk Juliette will discuss the three typical responses to stress and why we are prone to repeat these when we feel under pressure. Juliette will explain how we can convert the typical stress responses into new ways of communicating to get our needs met in more productive ways.
So you can be closer to the people who matter the most to you.
For over 10 years Juliette has been studying human behaviour and emotions. She runs her own private practice in East Grinstead offering Counselling & Psychotherapy to both Adults and Children at The College of Oriental Medicine where Juliette is also a Lecturer and Tutor. She also writes and delivers talks within schools, companies and the local community.
