  • Worried about speaking in front of an audience?

  • Anxious about how you'll look and sound?

BUT…….

  • You're fed up always being in the audience, and.....

Then attending this workshop is your next natural step.

By the end of this workshop you will know:

  • How to plan your powerful presentation;
  • How to focus on your audience & their needs;
  • How to use breathing to manage nerves;
  • How to develop your voice to deliver a clear message;
  • How to decide on props and technology.

About Dawn

Ever had a defining moment that in hindsight shaped how you would move forward in life. When I was a teenager I used to study speech and drama, and, as part of that would take part in festivals and exams (proud to say I achieved Guildhall School of Speech and Drama, Grade 8 qualification!).

However when I was 14 years old I competed in the local festival and was really very nervous and scared. I always was, however I was more scared of letting my family and teacher down, so I never confided this fear and lack of confidence. To add insult to injury, a kind adjudicator once advised me to take valium as my nerves ruined my work. That wasn’t an option for me, so I started taking my studies much more seriously to see just what I could do with my Speech & Drama learning to help myself.

Then about 15 years ago, I embarked on a voyage of discovery that started with reading self-help books and developed through participating in training as a subject learning coach, a personal coach, and developing expertise in a variety of supportive techniques along the way.

Communication clearly has been hugely important in my life and career and has grown my desire to help people communicate their expertise and passion for their businesses with clarity and power. My clients have included local politicians, teachers and independent financial advisors.

The skills I have developed as a teacher, coach and speaker help me to develop training that is focused but supportive and helps my clients achieve a greater confidence not only in their businesses but in other aspects of their lives.
