Workshops:
Portrait Sketching by Lera Bolkonskaia Denga (She/Her)
Take part in fun exercises to overcome the fear of sketching, get our minds and arms loose to sketch freely and even learn to draw portraits from memory.
Participants will take turns to be portrait-makers and portrait-models. We'll be focusing on making an expressive portrait and trying to capture more than what is visible. This workshop is for anyone who is looking to draw, connect and enjoy the process.
Lera is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts.
Basic Bookbinding by Mac Clapper (He/Him)
Ever wanted to make a zine or mini publication? This brief workshop will teach basic techniques of how to bind zines, mini publications, and other small books. At the end, each participant will have a small diary to take notes in, also learning the basics of imposition and layout along the way 😊
Mac is a Post-Grad Community Ambassador and MA Graphic Communication Design student at Central Saint Martins.
Smartphone Photography for Creatives: Portfolio & Social Media Edition by Soundarya Thandapani (She/Her)
This interactive, 60-minute workshop helps creatives from various backgrounds capture high-quality mobile photos for their portfolios and social media. Participants will explore quick photography hacks, powerful editing techniques, and strategies for building a cohesive social media aesthetic.
