This post-natal Pilates class is suitable for anyone following their 6 week post-partum check up with the doctor, if you have had a C-section it is recommended you wait 12 weeks before resuming exercise. If you attended my Pregnancy classes you can start the breathing exercises immediately. If you had any complications during your labour or birth and have any questions about starting Pilates then please get in touch.
A 4 week class pass is £40 and an 8 week pass is £72. I will give you a stamp card on your first class and once you have a full card and book another block you will receive a free class. I will be in touch following your booking in order to arrange payment either via BACS, cheque or cash. Payment is due via BACS before the start of the first class.
Please bring your yoga mat, all other equipment will be provided. Wear clothing you feel comfortable to move in and you can either wear socks or go barefoot. There is plenty of space for pushchairs and car seats, please bring along any rugs or toys you need to make your baby comfortable. I have had 2 babies and understand they don't run to a schedule so if your baby cries or needs to be fed or cuddled you are welcome at any time to tend to them. After the class there will be coffee and tea available if you'd like to stay and feed your baby or chat to the other mums.
There is parking available at the venue but the first one in is last one out as it's a one in-one-out driveway, otherwise there is ample street parking on South and North Hermitage near by.
You will be required to fill in and sign a pre-exercise health screening which I will send to you before the block commences. I need this before you can begin your classes. If you have any specific questions then please contact me directly.
