Event description
A free three-month postal art project for families or households in South Birmingham. Get creative during lockdown!

About this Event

Contribute to a collaborative zine making project by post!

This project is open to households in the Selly Oak locality - Stirchley, Bournville, Cotteridge, Selly Oak, Selly Park, Bournbrook, Druids Heath, Monyhull & Highter's Heath and is funded by Birmingham City Council Children & Families Covid 19 Community Grant.

You can take part as a family, as an individual or as a household group - strictly one place per household. This project is suitable for adults and children of all ages and abilities - this is a truly multi-generational project!

Each household will receive creative tasks and a selection of materials once a month along with pre-paid envelopes to post back your artwork.

Artwork produced during the project will be collated by Stirchley Art Room into separate hand bound zines - each one containing original artwork from each household. At the end of the project each household will receive an original zine to keep.

Artworks will also be exhibited online at www.stirchleyartroom.co.uk as the project progresses and you can follow the project on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
