Description

This event will showcase the research being produced from within the Division of Psychology and Mental Health and the Division of Human Communication, Development and Hearing.

The conference will include presentations by our Postgraduate research students, including PhD students, audiological scientists, and trainee clinical psychologists. This will be an opportunity to see the results of novel and emerging research projects from across a broad range of topics within the area of physical and mental health, psychology, language and communication, and well-being.

The event will begin with a keynote talk by Dr Filippo Varese entitled "Childhood Trauma and Psychosis: Mechanisms and Treatment". Lunch will be provided.

This event is free and is open to staff and students within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, those personally affected by psychological, mental health or communication difficulties, and our partners and colleagues from outside of the University, including academics and students from other institutions, and those working within the NHS or 3rd sector organisation.
