Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine

The faculty offers globally acclaimed academic expertise in a wide range of basic, applied and clinical sciences. Our students enjoy unrivalled learning opportunities, which are strengthened by our partnerships with leading healthcare organisations and industry.

Postgraduate students learn from and work alongside researchers, teachers, clinicians and healthcare professionals, within a robust multidisciplinary environment. Our specialist programmes combine rigorous academic content with training in clinical competencies, research and critical analysis in the areas of biomedical and life sciences, public health, imaging sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology & forensic science and specialist training for medical professionals.

Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences

The faculty is an international centre of excellence for teaching and research. We offer dentistry programmes leading to specialist registration in all the major clinical disciplines, as well as a variety of MSc and Diploma programmes for working dentists, both on campus and online.

Our Centres for scientific research offer MSc courses over their key areas of focus in Development, Regeneration, Repair & Tissue Engineering; Immunity, Infection & Host-Microbe Interactions; and Clinical, Translational & Population Health, all designed to provide academic, practical and research training for science graduates before embarking on a PhD or a career in research and development, as well as PhD projects.

Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience

Come and meet course leaders and current students to find out more about our range of master's courses and to receive valuable career advice.

There are many opportunities open to you at the IoPPN, including a superb range of clinical placements, outstanding networking and mentoring opportunities, world-class facilities and working alongside researchers and clinicians at the cutting edge of their field.

Our aim is to understand how the mind and brain work to help prevent and treat mental illness and neurological disorders. We are ranked 2nd in the world for psychology (US News Best Global Universities) and are one of the world’s leading centres for neuroscience.

Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care

The faculty offers a wide range of postgraduate study including some unique programmes supporting career development for practitioners and health professionals.

Students may exit at intermediate points with either a postgraduate certificate or diploma, depending on their programme of study. It is recognised that students often come to King’s having already achieved much learning since their first degree so it is possible to incorporate prior learning into their study.
