Event description

Description

The annual Postgraduate Symposium of the British Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (BCISMRM) will take place this year at the Alan Walters building in the University of Birmingham on April 5th 2019. This year’s meeting will include a new workshop on How to be a Kind Scientist, along with the election of the next Student Observer as well as the dissemination of work by post-graduates and junior postdocs from around the UK.

We have extended the deadline for abstract submission to Monday 25th February 2019. Please send submissions to pgbcismrm2019@gmail.com by this date, indicating in your email whether you would prefer a talk or poster format. We would like to remind that this is a great opportunity to rehearse prior to ISMRM, and we do allow an adapted submission of ISMRM abstracts (i.e. alternative title, reformatting etc.).

Abstracts should be one page long in PDF or word format with appropriate font size (No less than size 9). Suggested structure is Introduction, Methods, Results, discussion and conclusion with one or two figures. Please include your title, authors and affiliations.

If you would like to act as a reviewer for this event then please contact the above address.

Applicants for the Student Observer position should contact bcismrm@gmail.com and prepare a 2 minute pitch for the event.

Many thanks to our sponsors for their generous support for this event without which it would not be possible.
