We need families to reflect on the communication and handover of information from Community Midwives to Health Visitors across London.

About this event

These focus groups are part of a project which aims to standardize the content of communication and handover of information between Community Midwives and Health Visitors across London.

We are talking with women/birthing people/dads and partners to understand experiences of how their and their baby’s information was transferred from community midwives to health visitors after the birth.

The work is an NHS London Maternity Clinical Network Quality Improvement project and involves close collaboration between a range of professionals and parents. The discussions will inform the work in this field and other ongoing work to improve postnatal care.

The focus groups will be facilitated by lay members of the Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) from two London hospital trusts.

The focus groups will be held over zoom and we can also offer bespoke timings if you have a group of parents who are also interested (e.g., your birth prep course group).
