POSTPONED: Talking Healthcare: Health and Care Forum for Merton
Event Information
Description
URGENT: MERTON HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE EVENT POSTPONED
As a result of the prime minister’s decision to call a general election on 8 June and the subsequent vote in the House of Commons today to allow the election to go ahead, we have to postpone the Health and Social Care Forum until after the election (a date will be confirmed as soon as possible). During the pre-election period, government departments and their arm’s length bodies are subject to strict guidance and should not conduct any public activity which could compete for public attention or influence the result of the election. This includes meetings involving members of the public (such as our Health and Care Forum).
We apologise for the short notice of the postponement – these circumstances are out of our control and as soon as the vote in parliament took place and the election was confirmed for 8 June – we made the decision to postpone and contact registered attendees.
We will publicise our rescheduled event as soon as we are able to confirm a date.
Thank you for your patience and we would like to apologise for any inconveniences this may cause.
