All schools in Bradford district and Craven are invited to the health and care careers fair. The fair is for students aged 13-18 years old (year groups 9-13) and is all about helping them find the right career in health, care or the voluntary and community sector.

What's on

THE MAIN EVENT - THE CAREERS FAIR

A chance for students to speak to the people who work in health, care and the voluntary and community sector. It will showcase the wide variety of careers available. Staff working in the sector will be available to talk to students about career options and help them discover the right career option for them. There'll also be interactive displays and exhibits for students to get to grips with the what each career involves.

There are two sessions, a morning session (9.30-11.45am) and an afternoon session (12.30-2.45pm) - please choose which session you would prefer when you book your tickets through this site.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING ZONE

There will be a dedicated zone with health and wellbeing advice just for young people. This will include information about physical health, self-care and mental wellbeing.

SUPPORT FOR YOUNG CARERS

Some students may also have responsibilty for caring for a loved one. There willl be dedicated information and support available for these students.

UNIVERSITY TOURS

Bradford University are offering students the opportunity to tour some of their state of the art health and care course facilities, including their maternity ward.

At the time of booking, please state the name of your school and the number of tickets you require.

About Student Central

Bradford University Student Central is a public space which will not be closed for the purposes of this event. Each school / college is responsible for supervising their students.

Photography consent

We assume that each school has obtained photo consent for each student, up to the age of 18 years old, and that consent has been gained for this event. However, we do know that some students and teachers may not wish to be photographed. Upon registration at the event, if you do not wish to be photographed, please collect a red lanyard from the event registration desk.

Bradford University Student Central is a public space. Therefore, the event organisers do not hold any responsibility for photographs/videos which may be taken by members of the public, this includes students and teachers attending the event.

Photographs taken at the event may be used by local NHS organisations, Bradford Council, North Yorkshire Council and local voluntary and community sector organisations for promotional purposes.

Food and drink

Please note that refreshments are not provided for delegates. There are shops available to buy refreshments within Bradford University Student Central.
