Event description

Description

Pottery about Chemistry is a project exploring the chemistry behind the essential elements of making and decorating pots. Through hands-on workshops you will explore the Chemistry of Clay and Glazes, investigate how ceramic materials have changed the world, and create your own little bit of the Periodic Table.

The event is suitable for children however please be aware that we will be working in the laboratories and the labs are designed for adults. Young children may struggle to reach the work surfaces. Under 16s must accompanied by an adult in all activities.
