Pottery class (1-2 people)

What to expect:

• Two hours of wheel time with a quick 15 minute demonstration beforehand and 15 minutes of clean down at the end.
• Getting messy! In this case 'hands on' is really appropriate. Although I supply very fashionable aprons, wearing clothes which you dont mind getting a bit mucky is advised! as well as removing jewellery, watches and bracelets.
• I'm happy to help you with your ideas! Bring some images, sketches or even just your minds eye and I'm confident we can spin up something for you.
• Clay must be 'fired' in a kiln to transform into ceramic, so if you'd like to take something home please bear in mind the delay between making and firing, approximately 2-3 weeks in total! I can arrange pick-up or posting.
• I'm limited in my colours by the glazes I use, ash glazes! I take waste ash made by the best pizzaria in Cardiff - Ffwrnes, and create a food safe glaze. I will have examples on hand to show you but if you're curious, please check out my website/social media.
