Pottery Throwing Taster Session

During this fun and laid back 2 hour taster, you will receive 3 balls of clay, and after a demo from one of our fantastic tutors - make your own small vases/ bowls.

2 of your thrown pieces will be chucked in the “bucket of doom” (if you watch Pottery Thrown Down, you’ll know) and your best 1 can be kept, to be fired and clear glaze will be applied. The pot will need to be collected at a later date - this process takes up to 6 weeks, as it needs to dry, be bisque fired, then glaze fired.

Once you reach Holme Mills and have parked in the overflow carpark, head back to the front of the side near Zapato Tap. Head through the big green gates and follow our signage and you will soon find us.
