Question 2

Do I need to bring anything?

Please bring 3 sizeable (minimum 1L) food storage containers to take your food home in. You do not need to bring any other equipment or ingredients with you as this will be provided by the cookery school and is included in the cost.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

We can cater for lots of different requirements. If you would like to attend a class and swap the meat for something else that’s fine – Just let us know when booking. If you would like to discuss any dietary requirements before booking please do give us a call or drop us an email and we will be happ

Question 4

Can I bring my own ingredients?

Accepted Answer

All courses include ingredients, so you don’t need to worry about it. In case you have any special dietary requirements such as Halal, please call us to discuss. We will let you know the amount of ingredients needed and you can prepare your own meat. Please keep the receipt for reimbursement.

I don’t have much cooking experience. Is the class suitable for me?

Of course! All of our classes are designed for everyone of all skill levels. Our chefs will make sure you enjoy the class!

Question 6

I would like to bring a child to a class. What is the age requirement?

Accepted Answer

We do encourage children to develop their knowledge and abilities in cooking but we also concerned for their health and safety. For Parent & Child classes, the child must be aged 6 or above and be accompanied by an adult. For other classes, it will be case by case as it depends on the level of skill

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your place on a class, you may do so by email no later than 21 days prior to the class date without charge.  However, if you cancel less than 21 days prior to the class date, you will not be eligible for a refund.

I am not good using internet, can I book the class through phone call?

Accepted Answer

Sure! You can call us on 0113 323 7700 during office hours. We are happy to book the class for you over the phone.

Question 10

Do you have any facilities for wheelchair users?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have one cooking station which can be lowered for wheelchair users. Our handwash basin is also adapted. In addition, there are disabled toilets in The Old Fire Station. Please feel free to let us know in advance, if you have any special requests.

Question 11

Do you have parking space?

Accepted Answer

Leeds Cookery School is in The Old Fire Station building in Gipton, Leeds. It offers plenty of on-site free parking including three electric vehicle charging points powered by renewable energy. Once parked please proceed to the main entrance and if reception is closed press the buzzer named Zest/Lee
